CGPSC Syllabus 2022: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) released the CGPSC Syllabus 2022 on its official website. CGPSC conducted the Prelims exam on February 13, 2022, and the Mains exam will be conducted from May 26 to May 29, 2022. Candidates appearing for the upcoming exam must have a thorough knowledge of the CGPSC Syllabus for effective preparation.

CGPSC Prelims Syllabus 2022

CGPSC General Studies Syllabus

The Prelims question papers will be set in English and Hindi. The General Studies paper comprises of 100 questions for 200 marks. The time duration is 2 hours. The Paper is divided into two parts. CGPSC Aptitude Test Syllabus

The Aptitude Test comprises of 100 questions for 200 marks. The time duration is 2 hours. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks. And, 1/3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Check the following Syllabus for Aptitude test mentioned below:

  • Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. -Class X level)
  • Knowledge of Hindi Language (Class X level)
  • Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi Language. Knowledge of Hindi Language and Chhattisgarhi Language will be tested in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi Language only, without providing translation.

CGPSC Paper II Syllabus

Essay Writing is divided into two sections namely; International and National Issues and Chhattisgarh State Issues.

Part A: International and National Issues

Candidates will have to write two essays on issues (Reason, present status, including data and solution) from this part. Four problems will be given in this part; the Candidate will have to write two essays on this part about 750-750 words. Each issue in this part will carry 50 marks.

Part B: Chhattisgarh State Issues.

Candidates will have to write two essays on issues (Reason, present status, including data and solution) from this part. Four problems will be given in this part; the Candidate will have to write two essays on this part about 750-750 words. Each issue in this part will carry 50 marks.

CGPSC Paper III Syllabus

Candidates qualifying for CGPSC Mains will be called for the Interview round. The candidates will assessed on the basis of mental strength, critical thinking logical expression, leadership qualities etc. The personality test is conducted for 150 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based on scores obtained from the Main exam and Personality Test.
