CLAT Result 2019 – National Law University, Odisha has announced the CLAT 2019 Result on June 14 post 6:45 pm. The CLAT Result was declared online on the official website, clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the national-level law entrance exam will only be able to check their CLAT results 2019 in online mode. The CLAT 2019 result has the details of the candidate along with his/her overall obtained marks and All India Rank. In order to check CLAT Result 2019 or to download CLAT scorecard, candidates need to provide their Roll Number or Mobile Number and Password to log in on the official website. On the basis of the CLAT Result, candidates will be shortlisted for CLAT counselling and seat allotment process. In other words, CLAT 2019 Results are the basis for admissions to as many as 2612 seats in 21 National Law Universities offering CLAT LLM programme and 5-year integrated law programme. Moreover, CLAT 2019 Scores that are to be announced along with the CLAT Result will be used by other private colleges for offering admissions into the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.

How to check CLAT Result 2019?
The NLU Odisha has declared CLAT 2019 result in online mode only on the official website in the form of a pdf. CLAT 2019 test takers will be able to access the CLAT result 2019 with the help of their roll number or mobile number and the password, which they received during the registration. The CLAT results or scorecard needs to be presented during the CLAT counselling along with other documents. So, candidates are advised to download the CLAT scorecard at the earliest to verify their details on it. Following are the steps involved in checking CLAT result 2019.

CLAT Result 2019: Admission Cutoff

CLAT Result 2019: Merit List
Based on CLAT result, the Consortium of NLUs will prepare the merit list. This merit list will be based on the overall marks and All India Rank acquired by the candidates. CLAT Aspirants must meet the cutoff set by NLU’s in order to appear in the merit list. The CLAT Merit List will have the following information-

CLAT Result 2019: Tie-Breaking Criteria
As mentioned earlier, the CLAT Merit List will be prepared based on CLAT result 2019 and there are some cases where candidates acquire the same marks in the CLAT exam. In such cases, to prepare a merit list CLAT officials will follow few guidelines to break the tie between the candidates for the allocation of seats into UG and PG courses. As per the level of the admissions, tie-breaking criteria can also vary, so take a look at the criteria from below:
CLAT Result Tie Breaking Criteria For UG Courses
- a) Candidates with higher marks in a certain component/ section on legal aptitude in CLAT 2019 exam will be given a higher rank.
- b) Candidates with more age will be given second priority in the ranking.
- c) If the tie still exists, candidates will be ranked through the computerized lucky draw.
CLAT Result Tie Breaking Criteria for PG Courses
- a) Candidates with more age will be provided a better rank in the CLAT merit list.
- b) Candidates chosen through the lucky draw will secure a higher position.
CLAT Result 2019: Counselling Procedure
Followed by CLAT Result 2019, candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be able to attend the CLAT Counselling for the seat allocation into UG and PG courses. CLAT Consortium officials will organize the admission procedure through a centralized online counselling on the basis of CLAT rank also known as ‘merit-cum-preference’. There will be around 3 rounds in CLAT Counselling procedure.
