ICSE Class 10 Timetable: Exam Day Guidelines

All examiners are required to bring the below exam-day directions to the notice of students. Following the exam day guidelines ensures that students avoid being involved in any unfair practices or that there are no discrepancies for them to appear in the exam. Teachers should ensure that students follow the below instructions on the exam day:

  • Be seated in the exam hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exams.
  • Students are advised to answer only the number of questions mentioned in the question paper.
  • Students must bring it to the examiner’s attention if there is any discrepancy in the exam.
  • Do not scribble on the answer booklet.
  • Write the UID, index number and subject on the top sheet of the standard answer booklet. This information should also be written on the front sheet of each continuation booklet used.
  • Write on both sides of each sheet of the answer booklet. Leave a margin at both the right-hand and the left-hand edges. 
  • Write the question number clearly in the left-hand margin at the beginning of each answer. Do not copy the question. Be careful to use the same system of numbering as that is used in the question paper. Leave a line after the answer to each question.
  • The use of any electronic devices, hand, desk or other types of calculating machines is not permitted.
  • Read the questions very carefully.
