The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the list of JEE Main 2024 exam city centres on its official web portal, jeemain.nta.ac.in. To check the JEE Main 2024 exam centre, candidates can refer to the JEE Main exam centre list given on this page. For this, they do not need their application number or password. NTA, the organisation in charge of administering the exam, will host the JEE Main 2024 in about 301 cities nationwide and 24 outside India.

Last year, the total number of exam centres was 394. Earlier, the authorities added Abu Dhabi as an exam city for JEE Main 2024. JEE Main Test Centre 2024 — List of Prohibited Items

The students need to know what items they are not allowed to carry inside the exam hall. Let us look at the list of prohibited items.

• Electronic devices include phones, calculators, log tables, pagers, tablets, and laptops.
• Books, notebooks, and papers are not to be carried or taken.
• Pen or pencil, pencil box, geometry set.
• Bags or backpacks.
• ID cards issued by schools/ colleges/ universities/coaching centres.
• Eatables and water.
• Any metallic item.
• Earphone, microphone, camera, recorder, etc.

Exceptions for Diabetic Candidates

The NTA has set the following guidelines for diabetic candidates.

• Such candidates will be allowed to carry eatables like fruits such as bananas, apples, or oranges.
• They can also carry sugar tablets and water in a transparent bottle.
• Candidates cannot carry packaged foods like sandwiches, chocolates, or candies.

Dos and Don’ts for JEE Main Exam Day

Candidates can check out the following list of dos and don’ts.

• Candidates are advised to reach the JEE Main test centre at least an hour before the exam timing.
• He/she should carry the proper printout of the JEE Main 2024 admit card to the examination centre.
• Students without a valid admit card are not permitted to enter the exam centre.
• He/she must bring any one of the valid original photo ID proofs for authentication purposes.
• For Paper 2, students should bring their own pencils, erasers, a geometry box, crayons, and colour pencils.
• Candidates are not allowed to take any metallic item or electronic gadgets inside the exam centre, including mobile phones, microphones, calculators, pagers, cameras, etc.
