In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in NEET 2022, the following procedure will be adopted to resolve the tie between them:
Once the NEET Result is out on the NEET UG 2022 result date, the NEET counselling will commence for All India Quota and State Quota seats. After the counselling dates are out, candidates must register for the counselling process. Candidates participating in the State Quota NEET Counselling process will register themselves with the state counselling authority. Post the counselling registration, the officials will release the NEET Rank List/Merit List.

NTA will prepare a centralised NEET merit list after the announcement of the NEET 2022 exam result. Merit list is prepared for 15% All India seats and 85% state quota seats.
