Sikkim Board Class 7 Exam 2023

About Exam

The Sikkim government aims to provide quality education to students. Instead of an autonomous board that reports to the Sikkim Government, the Directorate of School Education and Administration (DSEA) is in charge of education in Sikkim’s schools. This department is also in charge of school administration, such as keeping all district offices connected and so on.

The Sikkim Education Board oversees the education of students up to the eighth grade in Sikkim. At the secondary and senior secondary levels, all schools are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). While English is the primary medium of instruction in all of Sikkim’s schools, Nepali and Bhutia, two of Sikkim’s mother tongues, are taught as second languages.
