IBPS PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) each year to select and recruit Probationary Officers in different public sector banks in India. IBPS PO 2021-2022– Overview

IBPS conducts IBPS Clerk and IBPS PO Exam every year. IBPS PO 2021-2022 Mains Exam was conducted on January 22nd, 2022. The aspirants applying for the IBPS PO exam should meet the criteria below.

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates must be the subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
  • For the permanent settlement in the country, Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1st 1962, can apply for the exam.
  • Candidates belong to Indian origin (PIO) and have migrated from Pakistan, Vietnam, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries like Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Kenya, Zaire, Ganda, and Ethiopia intention of permanent settlement in India can appear for the exam.

Educational Qualifications

  • Aspirants applying for the IBPS PO exam should have a graduate degree BA, BSc, B.Com, or B.Tech from a recognized university. Candidates must obtain the degree of graduation on or before the date mentioned in the application form. 
  • Applicants must have basic computer skills as the exam will be conducted online.
  • Candidates appearing from a particular state must have written and verbal knowledge of the local language.

Age Limit

IBPS PO Registration Process

The candidates interested in applying for IBPS PO are advised to follow these simple steps mentioned below to apply for the exam.

Step 2: After that, press the ‘Click Here for New Registration’ button.

Step 3: Next, enter your Email ID and other required credentials.

IBPS PO Admit Card 2022

IBPS PO Admit Card is one of the most crucial documents for entering the examination hall. Without this vital document, the candidates are not permitted to take the exam. The IBPS PO 2021 admit card for the prelims examination was released on 20 November 2021. IBPS will release the admit card for Mains examination after releasing the Prelims result. IBPS PO Selection Process

The candidate will be appointed as IBPS PO depending on their performance. The exam is divided into three different stages.

  • Prelims
  • Mains
  • Interview 

Candidates who want to be selected and appointed as IBPS PO must score the required cut-off. Along with that, the overall cut-off should also be cleared for the final selection. The candidates have to qualify each stage for the final selection. The Prelims exam is qualifying. However, the candidates must qualify for the Prelims exam to get selected in the Mains exam by scoring the required cut-off. After that, they have to qualify for the Mains exam to appear for the interview process. The final selection will be made by adding the Mains marks and Interview marks in the 80:20 ratio.

  • The interview was the final stage of the IBPS PO exam.
