Telangana MBBS Admission 2020: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal has started conducting the Telangana MBBS admissions. The eligible candidates were allowed to register for Telangana MBBS 2020 admission from November 1 till 8, 2020. Telangana MBBS Admission Criteria 2020
The admission selection criteria are divided as AIQ i.e All India Quota Seats and State Quota Seats.
All India Quota Seats
15% of the total seats come under the AIQ seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for these seats. Candidates who are the domicile of various states of the country other than Telangana or who are domicile of Telangana will have to participate in the AIQ seats.
Central and Deemed Universities
MCC will conduct counselling for these seats on the basis of NEET All India Rank.
State Quota Seats
85% of the total seats come under the State Quota Seats. KNRUHS will conduct centralised counselling for these universities. The ones who belong to Telangana state will be able to participate in the State Quota Seats.
Private Medical College

Telangana MBBS 2020 Admission: Application Process
The application and registration process of Telangana MBBS admission 2020 will commence in the third week of June 2020. The process is divided into various steps as described below:
In this step, candidates will have to visit the official website. Candidates will have to add basic details such as Name, NEET rank 2020, roll number (same as that on the NEET admit card), contact details, etc.
Filling the Application form
Candidates will have to fill the application form by giving detailed information related to their personal details, contact details, qualifying examination details, category (in case anyone belongs to a specific category) etc.
Candidates will have to attest the respective declaration in this step. It states that the information provided by them is correct.
Application fee payment
Candidates will have to pay an amount of ₹3000/- in case, one is falling under the general category or the backward class category. Candidates will have to pay an amount of ₹2500/- in case, they are falling under the general category or the SC/ST category.
Telangana MBBS 2020 Merit List
Based on the candidates’ performance in NEET 2020, a list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed. This list will be released by the admission conducting body on the official website. The Telangana MBBS merit list will display details such as the names, roll number, rank, category, etc. Candidates will be able to access the merit list on the official website by logging into their respective accounts. In case of a situation of a tie in NEET score of two candidates, the merit list will then be prepared by comparing the individual subjects’ performance. If the tie still persists, then the candidate older in age will be given higher preference.
Telangana MBBS Admission 2020: Cutoff Score
As the NEET result was declared on October 16, the authorities have released a NEET cutoff score. Based on the difficulty level, the number of test-takers, vacant seat availability, etc., the cutoff marks was prepared.
