IBPS PO Score Calculation

The process of normalisation will be used while calculating the marks for the IBPS PO 2022 result. The formula to calculate the score of the IBPS PO Exam 2022 is as follows:

IBPS PO Score = (Number of correct answers X marks per question) – Number of incorrect answers x 0.25 (marks deducted per incorrect question)

Normalisation of Scores

The IBPS follows the normalisation process to evaluate the performance of candidates based on the difficulty level. Since the exam is given in multiple shifts, the difficulty level of the question papers varies. The overall and sectional difficulty of topics varies by slot. The questions may be easier in one slot and more difficult in the other. The conducting authority normalises the marks obtained by candidates in different shifts of the exam for evaluation. The normalisation is done using the equi-percentile method and the IBPS PO result is announced after normalising the marks of candidates.
