JEE Main 2022 July Session: July 27, Shift 2 Exam Analysis

Bengaluru, July 27: JEE Main July 27 Shift 2 has been successfully conducted by the exam authorities. The exam timings were from 3 PM to 6 PM. The exam difficulty level was reviewed to be “moderate”. Candidates can refer to the question paper and solution key which have been provided here in this article. After the July session exam, the NTA will release the JEE Main cut-off 2022. JEE Mains 2022 cut-off will be released separately for each category. JEE Main 2022 July 27 Shift 2 Subject-wise Question Paper Analysis

As per the subject matter experts, the JEE Main July Session Day 3 Shift 2 exam difficulty level was reviewed to be moderate. Here is the detailed analysis which is given below:

  • Physics: This section was well-balanced. easy as reported by the students. Mechanics, Wave & Sound, Rotational Motion, Heat & Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Electrostatics, EM Waves, Current Electricity, AC Circuits, and Communication Systems all had some good questions. A few numerical-based questions were simple.
  • Chemistry: Physical Chemistry was mostly in the Numerical section, with MCQs from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, and Thermodynamics were all given weightage. Physical Chemistry’s numerical-based questions were simple. Co-ordination Compounds, Ores & Metallurgy, and Environmental Chemistry all had questions for Inorganic Chemistry. Organic Chemistry had a lot of NCERT questions.
  • Mathematics: This section contained questions from almost all chapters, with a focus on Calculus and Coordinate Geometry. There were questions on Straight Lines, Circles, and Parabolas. In Algebra, questions were also asked about Sequence and Series, Binomial Distribution, Probability, Matrices, Vectors, 3D Geometry, and Complex numbers. There were four questions in Calculus- Area under Curves. According to students, the numerical-based questions required lengthy calculations. A few students also reported that it was difficult.

  • Ananya Bhardwaj: Ananya thought the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. According to her, the Chemistry section contained direct questions from the NCERT Textbook. The Physics section was moderately difficult to solve, and the Mathematics section was lengthy.
  • Abhirup: Abhirup’s initial reaction was that the paper’s overall difficulty was moderate. However, the Mathematics section was moderately difficult, whereas the Physics and Chemistry sections were decent to attempt.
