NMMS Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2023: The National Means-cum-Merit scholarship (NMMS) was launched to award scholarships to meritorius students of economically-weaker sections, to encourage them to complete their secondary education. State Council of Education Research and Training prescribes the NMMS exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates appearing for the exam must prepare for the exam in sync with the NMMS syllabus and exam pattern.

According to the NMMS test structure, there are two papers, namely, MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Each paper comprises 90 MCQs to be solved within 90 minutes each.
