The State Board Class 9 students in Assam follow the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA). The Board was established in 1962 under the Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961. It became an autonomous body under the Governmental Board of School Education. The Assam Board develops, regulates, supervises and promotes quality and excellence in primary and secondary education in the state of Assam. SEBA strives hard in its mission of spreading and delivering standard education to students.
SEBA prescribes the Class 9 curriculum of the Assam Board. To fulfil the founding objective of the board, a committee of skilled subject matter experts from various subject backgrounds was called in to assist SEBA in designing the curriculum. SEBA, along with these experts, have come up with a full-fledged syllabus and textbooks. The syllabus consists of not just theory but also practical to support students in digesting concepts easily. SEBA has prescribed the complete 9th class syllabus including course structure, distribution of marks, duration of period, projects, assignments, etc. Students have to follow the syllabus religiously to score well in the final examination. SEBA Board Class 9 Maths syllabus is prescribed by the board of Secondary Education, Assam. The Mathematics syllabus comprises ample exercise problems and assignments for consistent practice and a better understanding of important topics.
