UGC NET Cut-off 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the UGC NET Cut-off December 2022 on April 13, 2023. NTA releases the cut-offs along with the result on its official website. How to Calculate UGC NET Cut-off Marks?
To calculate cut-off marks for UGC NET 2023, NTA follows the below process.:
The total number of qualified candidates in the exam is equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both papers of the exam.
The total number of slots allocated to candidates belonging to different categories is as per the reservation policy of the Government of India.
Minimum marks required by candidates to be considered for Junior Research Fellow and/or Assistant Professor.
Qualifying factors for candidates who pass UGC NET will be based on their category. The aggregate percentage secured by candidates in both papers corresponding to the number of slots will determine the qualifying cut-off.
The total number of slots available for awarding JRF is allocated among different categories as per the reservation policy of the Government of India.
