AIIMS MBBS 2017 Review by experts:
There was a total of 200 questions, with 60 questions each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 10 questions each for General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning.
Questions from Physics and Chemistry subjects were tough compared to Biology and General Knowledge. The Physics portion had both numerical and theoretical questions. Most of the numerical questions were lengthy and time consuming. Biology amd Chemistry papers are mostly from NCERT. Ease of Biology and General Knowledge sections was surprising.Physics was hard-hitting for most of the candidates who appeared in AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam.Majority of questions were reason and assertion based so it took time to derive the answers.
AIIMS 2017 exam Shift 1: “This was a straightforward and balanced paper without any unexpected surprises. The toughest section was probably Physics which had some questions beyond the NCERT syllabus. Biology was the easiest section with all but 4-5 questions coming from NCERT itself. General Knowledge section had current affair questions while the assertion reason questions were mainly not covered in the NCERT syllabus”
