The facility for Generation of Code will re-open from 19th March to 25th March 2019 (up to 05:00 PM). AIIMS 2019 Eligibility Criteria
AIIMS aspirants should fulfil the following AIIMS UG eligibility criteria :
- Minimum Age Limit: Applicants taking AIIMS 2019 must have a minimum age of 17 years or should be 17 years old by 31st December 2019.
- Educational Qualification: Students applying for AIIMS MBBS 2019 should have passed Class 12 or similar exam from a recognized board. Students should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as their main subjects. Candidates appearing for Class 12 exam in 2019 can also appear for the exam.
For Unreserved and OBC category, a minimum of 60% marks has to be obtained in the qualifying exam. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
- Nationality: Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, OCIs, and NRIs can apply for AIIMS MBBS 2019.
- Maximum Number Attempts: Candidates can attempt AIIMS until 30 years of age.
AIIMS Application Form 2019: How To Apply For AIIMS 2019?
AIIMS Registration takes place in two stages: Basic Registration and Final Registration. Follow the steps as under for AIIMS Basic Registration:
- Step 1: Visit the official website of AIIMS: aiimsexams.org.
- Step 2: Click on “Click Here For New Basic Registration.”
- Step 3: Read the instructions and click on “Proceed”.
- Step 4: Enter your Personal and Contact details.
- Step 5: Click on “Generate Registration ID and Password.”
- Step 6: Your Registration ID and Password will be sent to you on the registered mobile number and email ID.
- Step 7: Log in to the portal using the ID and Password sent to you.
- Step 8: Now, upload your scanned “Photograph”, “Signature” and “Thumb Impression.”
- Step 9: Click on the “Submit” button and submit the form.
After the basic registration is over, the AIIMS application will be reviewed and candidates will be able to check whether or not their basic application is accepted. Candidates will be given a chance to correct their basic application after which it will be reviewed again and the status will be released. Candidates whose basic application has been accepted will then be able to go for AIIMS Final Registration.
The final registration process will involve:

- b. Filling up of choice of exam centers
- c. Filling up of qualification, address and other important details
- d. Final submission of application form.

AIIMS 2019 Application Fees
AIIMS application fees can be paid only in online mode via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net banking. PwD category applicants are exempted from paying the application fees. The category-wise application fees for AIIMS 2019 are as under:

AIIMS 2019 Exam Pattern
- AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be conducted in two days over four different slots.
- It will be conducted bilingually – English and Hindi. AIIMS UG is a one tier MCQ-based examination.
- AIIMS consists of a total of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Aptitude and Logical Thinking and General Knowledge.
- Each question in AIIMS carries 1 mark.
- 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
