Job Profile or Work Profile of Branch Post Master (BPM)

• Branch Post Master is responsible for taking care of the entire Gram Panchayat postal work.
• It includes managing affairs of the Branch Post Office and India Post Payment Banks.
• BPM is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted counter operation during working hours using digital devices such as handheld devices, mobile phones, laptops, etc.
• Management of records, marketing of postal, India post payment bank services, and procurement of business in the village or gram panchayat.
• The BPM will be heading the branch. BPM is responsible for administrating the tasks to be performed in their respective branch offices.
