IBPS PO VI 2021 Preliminary Exam Analysis: Check Here!

A huge number of students have appeared for the preliminary exam on 16th of Oct, which will continue till 27th. The third slot of the exam was scheduled to take place from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. The level of the exam was Easy to Moderate.

Now without wasting a single moment, let’s get straight with the exam analysis of IBPS PO Prelims Slot III.

There are precisely 3 sections in IBPS PO Pre exam, namely Reasoning, English, and Quantitative Aptitude. This year there were 2 seating arrangements. In the reasoning part there were 2 puzzles, no fillers were asked in English Language and Quant was of Easy-Moderate level. The level of question paper was same as the previous Slot I and Slot II.

Quantitative Aptitude
Level –Easy to Moderate

(i) Number Series – 5 Questions (Moderate)

(ii) Quadratic Equation – 5 Questions (Easy)

(iii) Data Interpretation (2 Sets) – 10 Questions (Easy to Moderate) (Tabular based)

(iv) Approximation – 5 Questions (Easy )

(v) Miscellaneous Questions – 10 Questions (Moderate)

Miscellaneous questions include – Age, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Mixture Allegation, Boats & Stream, Compound/Simple Interest, Time & Work, etc.

Reasoning Ability
Level – Easy to Moderate

(i) Inequality – 5 Questions (Easy) Direct Questions

(ii) Syllogism – 5 Questions (Easy)

(iii) Puzzle and Sitting Arrangement– 15 Questions (Moderate – Difficult) (Floor based, Circular Arrangement)

(v) Blood Relation – 3 Questions (Easy)

(vi) Direction based – 3 Questions (Easy)

(vii) Rest Miscellaneous

English Language
Level – Moderate

(i) Reading Comprehension – 8 Questions – (Moderate) (No Antonym and Synonym based question) (Based on Globalisation)

(ii)  Spotting Error – 10 Questions (Easy)

(iii) Cloze Test – 7 Questions (Moderate)

(iv) Parajumbles – 5 Questions (Moderate) (Pollution based)
