NEET Application Form 2022: NTA released the hall tickets for NEET admit card 2022 on July 12, 2022. The correction window opened for a second time, from June 14 to 16, 2022. This time it has been opened for candidates who could not provide their categories properly in their application forms or those who did not have a category certificate. Candidates could change the categories in their application forms and upload their category certificates until 9 p.m. on June 16, 2022.

NEET 2022 Application Form: Eligibility Criteria
After going through the exam event schedule, the next thing that candidates should check before filling out the application form is whether they are eligible for NEET. We have provided the NEET eligibility criteria below so that candidates can verify whether they can appear for the NEET 2022 exams:
Indian Nationals Foreign Nationals NRI PIO/OCI cardholders
To apply for NEET 2022, candidates should be at least 17 years old on December 31, 2022, at the time of admission. There are no upper age limit criteria for candidates to appear for UG – NEET 2022 examinations.
Number of Attempts Permitted
There are no restrictions with regard to the number of attempts permitted for NEET 2022 exams.
General – 50% SC – 40% ST – 40% OBC- 40% PWD – 45%
Candidates should have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as their core subjects from a recognized board.

After providing the above details, candidates will be prompted to choose a password and confirm the same. They will be asked to select a security question to answer. Candidates should note the question they select and the answer to it. If they forget their login passwords in the future, this question-answer set will help them procure their passwords.
After completing the registration process, the portal will generate a provisional application number. Candidates will have to keep a note of this number. It will be their login id for all their future logins.
2nd Step: Filling the NEET Application Form
After registering, the candidates should click on the link to complete the application form. In this step, they must fill in the remaining information, such as their personal and academic details.
Candidates must verify the information in the Particulars Checklist before they tick them and confirm. Candidates will have to check the following information in the Particulars Checklist before they click on “I Agree”:
Name of the candidate
Date of birth
Medium of question paper
3rd Step: Document Upload
In this step, candidates will have to upload scanned copies of their signatures, photographs and other documents to support their personal, academic and other details. The specifications for uploading the documents have been provided later in the article.
4th Step: Application Fee Payment
In the final step, candidates must pay their application fee online before submitting the application form. The candidates can pay the fee using a credit card/debit card or internet banking. Candidates can check the table below to see the application fee that they will need to pay:
5th Step: Completion
After paying the application fee, the application forms will be submitted. This can be verified from the confirmation page message. Candidates will receive a copy of the acknowledgement that their applications have been submitted over their registered email addresses and mobile numbers. Candidates are advised to keep this acknowledgement message and transaction receipt (if any) safe for future reference. They can also take a printout of the documents.
Documents To Be Retained Until Admission
Candidates should retain the following documents until they report to the colleges they are allocated:

Receipt (or proof) of application fee payment
6 to 8 copies of photographs that have been uploaded on the form
Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir who opt for the 15% AIQ seats should retain a copy of their self-declaration.

Pointers To Note While Filling Out the NEET UG Application Form 2022
Candidates should be mindful of the following pointers while updating the details for their UG NEET application forms for 2022:
Read the instructions provided in the application form before starting to fill it out. Once the application form is submitted, candidates will not be able to make changes to all the information provided in it. To submit an error-free application form and to avoid rework, candidates should read the form instructions carefully before filling it out.
The email id and phone number will be required all through the process until admission. Keeping a note of this, candidates should ensure that the email address and phone number they provide are active and functional. No changes can be made to the email address and phone number once those have been registered.
The documents should be as per the specifications prescribed by the NTA. They should be valid, clear, and not blurry.
It is best not to wait until the last minute to fill out the application form. Server issues may arise on the last date of submission. In addition, the exam centres are allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, candidates who fill out the application forms at the last minute will not be able to exercise the preference options to their full potential.

How To Retrieve NEET Application Password?
If candidates forget the password to their candidate portal, they can retrieve their passwords with one of the following methods:
Security question and answer: Through this method, candidates can retrieve their passwords by providing their NEET 2022 application form number, the security question and answer to the same, and a case-sensitive security pin.
Verification text: Candidates can provide their application form number, dates of birth and a case-sensitive security pin to get their passwords.
Using the reset password link: Upon clicking on this link, candidates will get a link to reset their passwords in their registered email addresses. After providing their NEET application numbers for 2022, dates of birth, and case-sensitive security pin, candidates can generate a new password to log in to their candidate portals.
NEET 2022 Application Form: Correction Window
The National Testing Agency has opened the correction window for the second time. This time the exam conducting body has opened the correction window for candidates who had not been able to provide their category correctly in their application forms either by mistake or because their category certificate was not available at the time of submitting the application forms.
Such candidates will be able to change their categories in their application forms and also upload a scanned copy of their certificate from June 14, 2022, to June 16, 2022, until 9 p.m. Candidates who do not have a Category Certificate will be able to submit a Self- Declaration Form in the prescribed format.
Earlier, the NTA opened the NEET UG Application Form Correction Window. Candidates who have registered successfully will be able to access the NEET 2022 correction window from May 24 to 27, 2022. Candidates cannot make any changes to the registered email address and mobile number.
Other than these, if candidates have made any mistake or provided any incorrect information in any of the following fields, they can correct the same by logging into their candidate portals using their application numbers and passwords during the application correction window:

How To Correct Image Discrepancies in NEET Application Forms?
If there are any discrepancies in the images they have uploaded, NTA will notify about the same to the candidates. The notified candidates must correct this information within the specified time. Candidates can make changes to the photograph or signature through the correction window or by using the login facility as given by the NTA. The image discrepancies can be corrected by following the below-mentioned steps:
Click on the login link for NEET candidates.
Enter the application number and password
An option to upload the photograph or signature will be displayed on the screen. Upload the document referring to the chart provided above.
Recheck the information and submit
After the new image has been successfully uploaded, an OTP will be sent to the applicant in their registered email addresses and mobile numbers. When candidates enter the OTP, a correction slip will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of this slip for future reference.
How To Edit NEET Application Form 2022?
Candidates can click on the link to the NEET application form 2022 and make changes to the information provided in the form by following the below steps:
Enter the NEET application number 2022 and password to login to the official website
Click on the correction link for UG NEET application form 2022
Make changes as required and click on Preview and Submit
Candidates will obtain an OTP in their registered mobile numbers
Enter the OTP and click on Final Submit
Note: This is a one-time correction facility. After this, candidates will not be able to make any further changes to the information they have provided.
Candidates will also receive a warning message with this notification, and they will be asked about their final confirmation of the details they have provided. Only after the candidates agree to this will the new information be submitted, and a NEET application correction slip will be generated as proof of acknowledgement. Candidates are advised to take three to four printouts of this correction slip for future references.
NEET Hall Ticket 2022
Candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms will be able to access their NEET 2022 admit cards from the official website. Candidates are advised to carefully review the details and check the information provided on their admit cards. Suppose candidates find any discrepancy in the information provided on the admit card, which is different from what they had provided in their application forms. In that case, they should report it to the authorities immediately.
If all the information in the hall ticket is correct, the candidates should download the hall ticket and take a print of the same. The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination hall. Without this, candidates will not be allowed to appear for their NEET 2022 examinations.
