JEE Main 2018 Important Chapters
Let’s take a look at the important chapters you need to crack in order to ace the JEE Main 2018.
Embibe has broken down the JEE Main syllabus into 4 different categories based on weightage and difficulty level.
Chapterwise weightage and difficulty level
We can divide the chapters based on the ‘weightage’ (importance to the exam) vs. the amount of input (the effort to learn and understand) required by them.
|High Weightage, Low Effort (Easy)
These are the most important group of chapters. You must complete these chapters thoroughly.
|High Weightage, High Effort (Hard)
These are the second most important group of chapters. You will probably have to spend a lot of time on these chapters.
|Low Weightage, Low Effort (Easy)
These are the chapters you can do only when you have time left after completing the first two.
|Low Weightage, High Effort (Hard)
Forget these chapters! You don’t need to worry about them. Focus on the above three types of chapters instead.
Here’s a subjectwise break-down:
Note: Input = Effort you need to put in!

Chemistry Chapterwise Weightage
Maths Chapterwise Weightage
