Rajasthan MBBS Counselling Procedure 2020
The candidates securing the qualifying marks in NEET are eligible to participate in the counselling round. The officials will conduct three rounds of counselling. All candidates must register for the counselling process in online mode Find below the steps to participate in Rajasthan MBBS 2020 counselling:
1st Step: Registration
The aspirants need to provide their personal, academic, and contact details to register for the counselling process. Pay the requisite fee via online payment mode to complete the registration process.
2nd Step: Publishing of State Merit List
The officials will release a merit list including the names of shortlisted candidates along with their obtained rank and examination roll number.
3rd Step: Document Verification
As per the merit list, all shortlisted candidates are required to report at the allotted counselling center with all specified documents for verification. Document verification is an important step.
Please note that the candidates who will be successfully clearing the document verification process will only be allowed to fill in their preferences.
4th Step: Choice-Filling and Locking
Post the verification of documents, the aspirants are required to provide the preference for institute via online choice-filling. Candidates need to lock their preference to submit the choices for seat allotment.
5th Step: Seat Allotment
The officials then allot the seat to the candidates based on their preferences, availability of seats, marks secured in the entrance exam, and reservation criteria. Then, the candidates need to pay the requisite fees to confirm the seat in the university. The aspirants will receive the seat allotment letter in online mode. In case the candidate does not receive the seat of his/her choice, they can participate in the further rounds of seat allotment. As per the latest schedule, the results of the first round seat allotment is released.
6th Step: Reporting at the College
Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to report to the institute on the specified date and time to confirm admission to the university.
Rajasthan MBBS Counselling 2020: Documents For Verification
The selected candidates will be required to carry the below-mentioned documents for verification:
- NEET admit card
- NEET scorecard
- Domicile certificate
- Copy of photo ID
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Class 10 mark sheet or any equivalent certificate showing D.O.B
- Caste certificate, sub-category certificate, if applicable
- Bond as per the applicable Proforma
- Seat Allotment letter
- 4 passport size photograph
Note: In case the candidates fail to bring the documents for verification, the admission of such aspirants will stand cancelled.
Rajasthan MBBS Counselling 2020: Bond Proforma
Candidates will need to fill in and submit a bond proforma at the time reporting at the allotted institute. The candidates allotted seats in a Government Medical College will have to submit a bond of Rs. 5 lakhs (Five lakhs rupees) and sign a commitment to serve the State Government for 2 years after completion of the course.
If any candidate leaves the course after the second round of counselling due to any reason, the bond of Rs. 5 Lakhs will be seized by authorities from such applicants.
