NEET 2019 result analysis: The NEET result declared on June 5 by NTA. A total of 1519375 candidates registered for the NEET 2019 while 1410755 appeared in the pen & paper-based exam held on May 5 at 2546 exam centres across India except Odisha. The NEET 2019 result analysis shows, 14.52% more candidates took the exam as compared to last year. This year a total of 1410755 candidates appeared in the exam among which 780467 were female and 630283 male candidates and 6 transgenders.
According to NEET 2019 result analysis, 797042 candidates qualified the exam out which 445761 girls and 351278 boys.

The NEET 2019 cut off score for General category candidates is 134 marks of out of total marks 720. And for OBC/SC/ST candidates NEET cut off is 107. NEET result 2019 to be the basis for admission to nearly 95000 MBBS and BDS in offered in Government and Private medical and dental colleges across India except for AIIMS and JIPMER as these two institutions are not in NEET ambit.
NEET result is the basis for admission to seats under All India Quota (15%) and State quota (85%). The admission under 15% will be done through centralized counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET 2019 was held on May 5 across India expect for Odisha. NEET exam for Odisha, Karnataka and Siliguri was held on May 20. In Odisha, the exam was postponed in the wake of Cyclone Fani.
