BENGALURU , September 09 | JEE Main Official Answer Key has been released by NTA on September 08, 2020 on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Along with the answer key, NTA has also released the response sheet so that candidates can check their answer with the provisional answer. In case a student is not satisfied with the answer key provided and considers the answer doubtful, he/she can challenge discrepancies in answers.
Candidates can raise their doubts regarding the JEE Main 2020 doubtful answers till September 10 by 10 AM by providing the supporting document and paying a processing Rs 200 non refundable fees as specified by NTA. JEE Main 2020 official answer key released at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
How to Challenge NTA JEE Main 2020 Answers – Steps to Follow
Candidates can follow the stepwise procedure to challenge the discrepancies in answer key through the official website of JEE Main 2020.
1st Step: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta,nic.in
2nd Step: Fill in the Application Number, Date of birth and Security pin provided and click sign in button.
3rd Step: Click on the “Challenge Answer Key – JEE Main 2020” button.
4th Step: Questions with ID Numbers and Correct Response (by NTA) will be shown on the screen.
5th Step: The candidates need to choose the option they consider the correct mark that option and click on the submit button.
6th Step: Candidate will find an option to submit supporting documents to justify his/her claim.
7th Step: After submitting the supporting documents, candidates need to save the claim and pay the processing fee online.
8th Step: Select Mode of Payment and Pay your processing fee @ Rs.200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
JEE Main 2020 exam was conducted from September 1 to 6 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. NTA took all the necessary measures to conduct the exam safely. In spite of all the measures in place around 17% of the registered students did not attend the exam.
JEE Main Result 2020 is scheduled to be released on September 11 based on which 2.5 lakh candidates will be selected for appearing in JEE Advanced 2020 exam scheduled on September 27.
JEE Main 2020 score will be considered for admission to nearly 26000 B.Tech/B.E. seats offered in 69 institutes including NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. JEE Advanced result is for admission to almost 11279 seats in 23 IITs. Along with these, the JEE Main score is also accepted by some self-financed universities and institutions for admission to B.E. and B.Tech programmes.
