JEE Main June 24 Shift 2 Paper Analysis
Paper 1 consists of 90 questions divided equally into 30 questions each under Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The question-wise bifurcation stands for 20 questions from Section A and 10 questions from Section B for all three subjects. Candidates must attempt all 20 questions from Section A and Section B; trying only 5 out of 10 questions is necessary.
JEE Main Paper 1 for B.E/B.Tech exam contains 90 questions which carry an overall score of 300 marks. Shift 2 exam paper has ended, and the overall difficulty of JEE Main 2022 Paper, based on students’ initial reactions, was reviewed to be easy to moderate. The JEE Main shift 2 paper was moderately difficult. The Maths portion was the toughest, while Chemistry and Physics were analysed to be easy. Aspirants can check the subject-wise analysis of JEE Main June 24 exam conducted in shift 2 below.
The physics exam paper was moderate as per the difficulty level. Most of the analytical questions were asked from previous year’s papers, although the numerical data values were changed. Questions in the physics exam were primarily from the chapters of NCERT Class 12 concepts. Some of the conceptual questions were from Semiconductors, Modern Physics, POC, and Electromagnetic Waves.
As per the statement of Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director, “For many students, the Physics paper was of moderate difficulty level. Questions were asked from almost all chapters – 3 questions from Optics, not less than 4 questions from Mechanics, 4 questions from Thermodynamics and questions from Waves and Sound, Semiconductors, among others are worth mentioning.”
JEE Main Paper 1 Chemistry
June 24 Shift 2 JEE Main Chemistry Paper was easy. Many questions were asked from NCERT textbooks, as reported by the students. Questions that came from Metallurgy and Inorganic Chemistry sections were also fairly easy, as reported by the students.
JEE Main Paper 1 Mathematics
Mathematics paper was quite difficult and lengthy as compared to Chemistry and Physics. It was calculative in nature, and it took a long time for students to solve the paper. Questions came from chapters like Differential Equations, and Probability, which took a long time to solve subsequently.
JEE Main 2022 June 24, Shift 2 (Paper 1) — Students’ Reaction
Based on the reaction of JEE Main aspirants, June 24 Shift 2 analysis is given as follows.
Devansh Sharma: The question paper was moderately easy as per the expectations. Many of the Chemistry questions came directly from NCERT textbooks. Physics was, however, conceptual, and Mathematics was difficult, which required many calculations. As per his statement, questions asked from calculus and conic sections were difficult to attempt.
Sudhir Aneja: The question paper difficulty level was moderate. Chemistry section questions were fairly easy to attempt when compared to Physics and Mathematics. He further stated that questions in Mathematics came more from Class 11 textbooks. Physics numerical questions were quite tricky.
Naveen: As per this candidate, the paper difficulty level was easy to moderate. It took quite a long time to solve the Mathematics and Physics sections.
