Goa MBBS Merit List: The Goa MBBS 2022 merit list will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bardez on the official website, dte.goa.gov.in. Once released, a link to download the Goa NEET merit list 2022 will be available on this page. The Goa MBBS 2022 merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ NEET 2022 scores. Candidates who pass the NEET medical entrance exam and fill out the Goa NEET application form 2022 will only be included in the state merit list.

Goa MBBS Merit List 2022

The selected candidates will be called to participate in the counselling process under the given timeline. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the conducting body and score minimum required marks in NEET will be included in the Goa MBBS/BDS merit list 2022. Once the merit list is released, the selected candidates will be granted admission to 180 MBBS and 50 BDS seats offered by the participating institutes in Goa.

How To Download Goa MBBS Merit List 2022?

Candidates who will apply for Goa MBBS Admission can check the merit list in PDF format through online mode. Candidates can check the online merit list on the official website and this page as well. We have provided all the direct links in the table to check the merit list. To download the list in online mode, candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bardez at dte.goa.gov.in or the direct link once it gets released.
  • Step 2: Under “News” section, click on the Goa MBBS Merit List.
  • Step 3: Candidates can then be able to download the merit list and check their names. 
  • Step 4: You can also take a printout of the merit list by clicking on the Print icon at the top right of the PDF.

Goa MBBS Admissions 2022

Goa MBBS BDS Cut-off 2022

DTE Bardez will release the Goa MBBS Cut-off for 85% of the state quota seats. At the same time, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), will conduct admission to 15% of All India Quota seats.

The released cut-off will be the minimum qualifying percentile/score obtained by the cut-off dates in NEET 2022. While preparing for the Goa MBBS/BDS NEET cut-off, several factors will be considered, such as the number of seats, the number of candidates appeared for NEET 2022 from Goa, availability of seats.

Goa MBBS Merit List 2022: Tie-Breaking Criteria

While preparing the merit list, the authorities face a situation where two or more students have scored equal marks in NEET 2022. In such a situation, DTE Bardez uses the following tie-breaking criteria:

  1. Marks in Biology: First preference will be given to the candidates who have scored higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2022.
  2. Marks in Chemistry: If the tie is still unsolved, a candidate who has secured higher marks in Chemistry will be given priority in the merit list for Goa MBBS admission 2022.
  3. Negative marking: In case tie still exist, candidates who have secured less number of negative marking will be preferred in the merit list.
  4. Age: In case of a tie still not resolved, the final deciding criteria will be the age of the candidate. The one who is older in age will be given higher preference in the merit list.

  1. Provisional and final Goa MBBS BDS 2022 Merit List will be released in online mode and can be downloaded from the official website.
  2. The merit list will be carrying important details such as application number, category, name, gender, Class 12 seat no., date of birth, Class 12 score, NEET score, qualifying score and eligibility status.
  3. Based on the released merit list, the counselling process of MBBS and BDS admission will take place in two consecutive rounds.

Goa MBBS Counselling 2022

DTE will conduct counselling for those who will clear the Merit List 2022. The candidates applying for Goa MBBS admission must note that the counselling will be conducted in offline mode in two rounds. A mop-up round of counselling will also be undertaken in case of MBBS and BDS seats remain vacant.

The Goa MBBS counselling dates would be announced soon. The seats will be allotted as per the merit list based on the marks they have scored in NEET 2022. Once the seat is accepted, candidates must report to the allotted institute with necessary documents and admission fees.
