OJEE NEET Merit List 2020: Tie-breaking Policy
In the case of two or more candidates possessing equal ranks, Odisha MBBS Admission body will follow the tie-breaking policy as mentioned below-
- Candidates possessing higher marks in Biology will be given higher rank in the merit list.
- If the marks of the candidates in Biology are also the same, then the marks of an aspirant in Chemistry will be considered.
- Aspirants who attempted less incorrect answers in NEET 2020 exam will be given preference.
- If the tie still persists, then the candidate with elder age will be considered first in the merit list
Odisha MBBS Counselling And Seat Allotment Process
Candidates having their names in the Odisha MBBS merit list will be then called for Odisha MBBS Admission and seat allotment process. On the basis of merit list, NEET scores, number of seats available, preferences of colleges and course the aspirants will be allotted seats.
The authorities may also conduct the mop-up round to fill the vacant seats left during the counselling and seat allotment process.
