When Edison invented the electric bulb, he also discovered something very useful alongside. He discovered:
- ”1000 ways how NOT to invent an electric bulb”
- ”One way to invent an electric bulb”
The point is simple, if he had not been through the first discovery, mentioned above, he could not have invented the man made source of light.
So, congratulations on your first discovery, ‘How NOT to study for JEE’.
But hey, don’t get stuck with this mentality & keep on discovering the “NOT” ways! You gotta move on, so, step up.
Edison, didn’t find 100 same ways, but tried something or the other new, every time. So, if you didn’t do well with your current approach, change it, because, obviously, you wouldn’t like to fail every time with the same style, and due to the same reason.
It usually happens that you get doubts in the examination hall, so, don’t wait for this to happen, practice so damn hard, that all your doubts are cleared before the exam.
And if you don’t get into IIT, big deal! You have your basics cleared, so IIT is not you ‘necessity’ anymore. Study engineering from anywhere, with all your passion, and be a success.
Remember Yashwant (author of ‘Let Us C’, it’s the most popular book for C language), he passed out from VJTI, Mumbai. Do you know any Indian who’d know more than him about C? Probably not. So, strive for knowledge, and with the NPTEL program of the government you can get IIT’s lectures on your PC, so problem solved. IIT education, without getting into it.
Moreover, you still have chance to score well in other entrances, don’t let today’s disappointment create a disappointing future for you.
Moreover, don’t get distracted by the topic, it’s not any kind of “failure” if you didn’t do well. It’s just that your basics need to be polished further, so polish them, and nail the BITS, VIT and every other examination that you appear for. Crush each of’em with the your jumbo knowledge.
Think of JEE as Just Enjoy this Exam yaar!
It’s like when you’ll work smart, get into some other college BITS/VIT etc, and will become successful henceforth; you’ll laugh at this, that once upon a time you used to be sad for scoring bad in JEE Main.
Concluding with the Edison-example,
He isn’t remembered for the 1000-NOT-ways, he is remembered for the bulb, so, light your dimaag ki batti , and work on the future, ‘coz after 4-5 years, nobody’s gonna ask you how did you do in JEE Main, instead, will cherish your success.
Seriously, it’s gonna be legen-wait-for-it-dary!
Don’t let any source of knowledge pass you, without pouring some, upon you.314 Views
