JEE Main Session 2 2023: The National Testing Agency will release the official notification for the JEE Main session 2 exam which will be held tentatively in June 2023. The official notice will be released, and the exam dates will be confirmed at least a month ago. The registrations will be online, and candidates can register for different sessions while filling out the application form. JEE Main 2023: Registration Process

The registration process for JEE Main 2023 will start tentatively in May 2023. Read the steps to fill out the JEE Main session 2 application form 2023.

Step 1- JEE Main 2023 Registration 

  1. Go to the official website for registration for JEE Main 2023.
  2. Click on ‘New Registration’.
  3. Read the instructions and procedure for online submission of the application form.
  4. Select  ‘Click here to Proceed’ at the bottom of the page after checking the ‘Download Information Bulletin’ box.

Step 2- JEE Main 2023 Application Form 

  1. Fill in the required information.
  2. Furnish all the information required for the submission of the application.
  3. Enter a strong password and security pin, and make a note of it.
  4. Submit and proceed to the next step.

Step 3- Uploads and Payment

  1. Upload scanned images of your passport-sized coloured photograph and signature.

The size and file format should be in adherence to the guidelines mentioned on the NTA site otherwise it will not get uploaded.

JEE Main Session 2 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to get admission to the best engineering colleges in India must score the minimum marks to qualify for JEE Mains. The candidates must also check the minimum age limit for IITs in addition to the marks. This year, NTA has removed 75% criteria from the minimum eligibility norms. However, for the JEE Mains Architecture and Planning course, candidates have to score a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 50% in aggregate of the qualifying examination.

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and foreign national candidates can also apply for JEE Main 2023.

Age Limit for JEE Mains 2023: There is no age limit for JEE Main 2023 examination.

JEE Eligibility Criteria 2023: Qualifying Year and Exam

The qualifying year and exam details are as below:

Year of Appearance and Qualifying Exam

Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023.
Candidates who passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2019 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023.
NIOS candidates can also apply for JEE Main 2023 exam as the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) also comes under the Association of Indian Universities.

Subjects in JEE Main Qualifying Exam

B. Arch aspirants should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects for their qualifying exam. They should have passed their Class 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates who wish to apply for B.E and B.Tech programmes must have Physics and Mathematics as the qualifying subjects. Additionally, they must qualify in one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and a technical vocational subject.
Candidates who are willing to study B. Plan as their degree course should compulsorily pass Mathematics as a part of their qualifying subjects. They should pass their Class 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate mark of 50%.
