JEE is a difficult Exam, not all 15lakh students who give the exam clear it. Not all the students who clear JEE Advanced, end up as another Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google). Some succeed and the others struggle. But this is not the end of the world. There are other people who can do equally well without being an IITian. maybe at one point in time, they al wished they could be an IITian but when they could not achieve this dream they didn’t leave hope. Don’t believe me? Here are some success stories that don’t depend on the JEE score.
So after reading the success stories given above the next thing that might come to your mind is – what to choose if not the JEE? For this, you need to ask yourself a few question and analyse where you fit in this large world.
Do you still want to be an engineer after not clearing the JEE?
Don’t worry there are other options – BITSAT, State CET’s, IISR, etc. There are various other engineering exams you can give and there are other colleges that can give you the success that you desire.
First find out- what you want?
This is the most important thing you need to know about yourself. What do you want to be? What do you like? What excites you? Like some people love to code and hence at a very early age they become genius coder even before becoming an engineer. Some people love maths and business, some like designing, some like research. So what do you want?
What are the other options?
If not an engineer what else can you be? Well, you can be an architect, a professor, a scientist, biologist, Microbiologist, Physicist, Life science, Biotechnology, BSC in Chemistry or Maths or Physics, you can also do BCA and MCA. There are other options if you have the money and the talent you can start your own Business along with studying BSC in IT and computers.
The mantra is ‘Love what you do and do what you love’:
Remember nothing that you want to achieve is difficult. Imagine if people would say making an engine was difficult there wouldn’t be cars bike and a racing vehicle that we have. We wouldn’t enjoy travelling. It all start’s small, the trick is to identify the problem and then find a solution to it. If you try to do something big all of a sudden it seems difficult so start small. Consider a cycle, Its made of wheels and to support those wheels are the spokes and the wheels need to be round so the cycle can smoothly move forward. That’s how the thinking process begins from the basic wheels, you go up to the seat that is then balanced on the wheel, the pedals that help drive the cycle forward. Life doesn’t happen all at once a baby does not grow it some day, it grows day by day. So don’t let time run ahead leaving behind tears of sadness, live your life to the fullest.
But don’t loose hope keep preparing till the end for JEE you never know you may end up with flying colors. But if you don’t make it don’t loose you calm keep going on. Remember it’s not the end.
