JEE Main 2022 Result Analysis: Detailed Review (Session 1, 2)

JEE Main Result Analysis 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main 2022 June and July session results on its official portal, viz. jeemain.nta.nic.in. The NTA officials will conduct JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam in the fourth week of April 2023. Agency already conducted the JEE Main 2022 June session from June 23 to 29, 2022, and the July session from July 25 to 30, 2022. Candidates who passed the JEE Main 2022 with a good score will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

– IIT Bombay started the online registration for JEE Advanced 2022 on August 8, 2022, at 8:00 p.m., and the last date to apply online for JEE Advanced 2022 is August 11, 2022; however, the aspirants can pay the application fee by up to August 12, 2022.

JEE Main Result Analysis 2022

NTA declared the JEE Main July session results for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) on August 8, 2022. The exam was conducted in 13 languages at 622 exam centres in 440 cities (including 17 cities outside India).

Here are the highlights of JEE Main 2022 after the result declaration:

  • A total of 4,68,205 common candidates registered for both sessions of JEE Main 2022.
  • A total of 4,04,256 common candidates took the test in June and July sessions.
  • The number of aspirants who registered for JEE main June sessions is 8,72,970.
  • A total of 7,69,604 aspirants appeared for JEE main June.
  • The number of aspirants who registered for JEE main July sessions is 6,22,034.
  • A total of 5,40,242 aspirants appeared for JEE main June.
  • The number of unique aspirants who applied for both sessions (June and July) is 1,026,799.
  • A total of 9,05,590 aspirants registered for both sessions of JEE Main 2022.

The NTA officials will release the JEE Mains 2022 cut-off along with the results of the JEE Main exam 2022. It should be noted that the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 exam will have two cut-offs: qualifying cut-off and admission cut-off.

JEE Main 2021 Result Statistics

The major highlights of the JEE Main Result for the year 2021 are listed below:

  • In 2021, JEE Main was held in four sessions: February, March, April-July, and August-September.
  • In all four sessions, 10,48,012 candidates registered for JEE Main 2021. Only 9,39,008 of these people took the exam.
  • 44 candidates got a 100 percentile. Out of them, only 18 managed to get AIR 1.
  • Kavya Chopra and Pal Aggarwal were two of the 18 AIR candidates.
  • According to the JEE Main Paper 2 results, three candidates received a perfect score in B.Arch (Paper 2A), while only two received a perfect score in B.Planning (Paper 2B).
