ISC Board Class 12 Exam Pattern: CISCE The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination regulates the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams for Class 12. The board releases the Class 12 exam pattern on its official website. Students must go through the ISC Class 12 exam pattern before appearing for the exams so that they have a complete idea about the exam and are fully prepared.

The ISC Board conducts exams twice a year for Class 12. The exams are conducted for 3 hours and students need to score a minimum of 33% aggregate to pass the exams. Given below is the subject-wise bifurcation so that the students can understand the ISC Board Class 12 exam pattern completely.
The ISC Board Class 12 Maths exam is conducted for 100 marks out of which 80 marks are for theory and 20 marks are for project work. Given below is the ISC Board Class 12 Maths mark distribution for students’ reference.
| Theory | Section-A will comprise 65 marks students will need to answer the following questions from it. Relations and functions- 10 marks Algebra- 10 marks Calculus- 32 marks Probability- 13 Section-B will comprise 15 marks students will need to answer the following questions Vectors- 5 marks Three- dimensional geometry – 6 marks Application of integrals- 4 marks Section-C Application of calculus- 5 marks Linear regression – 6 marks Linear programming – 4 marks |
| Project work | Students have to make 2 projects one from section-A and one either from section-B or from Section-C. The project will be examined by the Subject teacher and a visitor. Then, it will be approved by the council. Each project will comprise 10 marks. |
The Physics exam for Class 12 ISC Board is conducted for 100 marks. Out of these, the theory exam is conducted for 70 marks and the practical exam is conducted for 30 marks. Students can check the table below to understand the ISC Board Class 12 Physics exam pattern.

The ISC Board Class 12 Biology is conducted for 3 marks and is divided into parts- theory and practical. The theory exam consists of 70 marks and the practical exam consists of 30 marks. Students can refer to the table below to understand the ISC Class 12 Biology exam pattern.
