Strategy |
Details |
Use the time well in the exam |
Read all the questions in a quarter-hour. While reading, mark the questions as easy, manageable and hard. This is often done to possess an overall idea about the questions and make a rough plan. |
Read the question paper well |
When writing the answers, you initially have to understand what’s being asked and how many marks it contains. The solution should be written accordingly- logically and comprehensively. |
Prioritise the questions |
Always attempt the straightforward questions first, then advance to the manageable ones and make sure that you complete them before taking over the difficult ones. This will make sure that you’re not leaving any questions that you know. Once you successfully attempt all the straightforward and manageable questions, your confidence will grow, and you’ll be able to combat the tougher questions. |
Keep eye on the watch |
Keeping an eye on your watch is not to increase your stress, but to ascertain that you are adhering to the time allocation. |
Do not use the normal slang |
Keep in mind that written English is different from spoken English. Using slang words or SMS language will be counted as spelling mistakes, and you’ll be penalised for an equivalent. |
Speed and accuracy |
Avoiding silly mistakes is extremely important to save lots of time. Keep timing yourself, and avoid careless mistakes. |
Maintain a neat and clean handwriting |
Write your answer in a clear and legible handwriting. Remember that if your answer sheet isn’t clean and handwriting is illegible, you might lose a few marks. Use a margin wherever necessary. |
Use normal language |
While writing your answers, ensure that you use an easy to understand language. An examiner will preferably be impressed by a conceptual answer written in simple language rather than one with no conceptual language but written in flowery language. |

Some of the important chapters and topics for the JAC CLASS 10 Exam are as follows:
The decision of pursuing the right career path after the 12th grade is one of the toughest decisions for any student. A majority of students choose courses without correctly evaluating their strengths, weaknesses and interests. Hence, it’s vital for any student to carefully settle on a career course for better prospects in the future.
Instead of blindly selecting a career path, it’s very important to be certain and assured about choosing the appropriate course. Parents should understand that not every student is cut out to be a doctor, engineer or CA. Rather than blindly selecting a career stream, it might be beneficial to consult a career counsellor who can guide you with evaluating your abilities and advice you on a suitable career option.
